Nottingham Lighting Centre came to us to modernise and refresh its online ecommerce store. NLC prides itself on having an extensive and high-quality product range covering all aspects of decorative lighting.
Using a combination of CMS to maximise efficiency and functionality, we designed and built a Shopify website which highlights the company's luxury stock as well as offers improvements to customer experience on both desktop and mobile.

The finished Shopify website brings together style, usability, and performance. With a focus on clean design and effortless navigation, Nottingham Lighting Centre’s new ecommerce experience showcases its extensive lighting collection while making it easy for customers to discover and purchase the right products for their space.
Building a high-performance website with optimised front-end and back-end systems
Our development team collaborated closely with the client to build a website that combines performance with simplicity. For the front-end, we used Sanity, which allows easy access for both the business and external contributors. This system enables quick edits to existing content and seamless additions of new copy, providing maximum control over the website.
For the back-end, we used Headless Shopify, a powerful and easy-to-use system that lets the client manage products, create new collections, and update services effortlessly. We also integrated Shopify image optimisation and Next image optimisation.
