The Process

Behind every PPC campaign, there’s a structured process to ensure the campaign is effective

Initial Consultation & Audit

The first step is for us to understand what you want to get out of advertising with pay-per-click. Are you looking to achieve more sales through an ecommerce store? Or perhaps you just want to generate more leads for your business?

At this stage, you’ll meet your account manager and they’ll find out about your business and begin to build a picture of who we’re targeting with your campaign and how best to reach them. We’ll also find out about the budget that you have planned so that we can come up with a tailored strategy to be as effective as possible within your budget.

If you already have an Adwords account, your account manager will have a look through it with you, highlighting any potential issues and improvements.

Once we’ve gathered all of this information, we’ll be able to discuss strategy with you and tell you how we’d market your website if it was ours.

Campaign Planning

If you’re happy with everything you heard in our initial consultation and would like to work with us, your account manager will decide which PPC expert is best suited to your campaign and they will brief them on what you’d like to achieve and the areas you’d like to target.

Your PPC consultant will then go away and plan out how we’re going to reach your target market. Usually we’ll recommend a mix of various PPC channels such as Google Adwords, Bing Ads and Facebook Ads.

We’ll plan out which keywords to target through search, the profile of your customers so that we can effectively target them through Facebook Ads and where your budget is best spent.

Once this plan has been agreed amongst the team, your account manager will report back to you to let you know what we’re planning and how we’ll be structuring your campaign.

Implementation

As soon as everything is planned and agreed, we’ll begin implementing the strategy. We’ll build landing pages specifically for each segment of the campaign and we’ll set everything up for your adverts to run.

From there, it’s a case of constantly adjusting things such as bids, areas to include and exclude and overall budgets and this is what makes up our month-to-month work for you.

By working in this way, we can constantly adjust your campaign to get the most out of it for you.

We’ll monitor how many clicks you’re receiving and how the campaign is performing in line with your KPIs. From this, we’ll gain an understanding of which areas are most viable for your particular business.

Tracking & Reporting

One of the areas that we really excel in is the tracking of how successful your campaign is. Thanks to our partnership with one of the world’s leading call tracking software companies, we’re able to provide an insight into exactly which PPC methods are working best.

We can even drill down as far as to tell you which exact keywords on Google Adwords/Bing Ads are producing the most calls. This means we can re-invest your budget in the areas that are working best.

You’ll get a monthly report which gives you an overall insight into how the campaign is performing in line with the KPIs that we agreed at the start. Your account manager will also be proactive in communicating the progress of the account with you.

On top of this, we hold structured quarterly meetings with all of our monthly marketing clients in which we will review the progress and give recommendations to grow the account further.
